Each engagement below has a defined scope, deliverable, and duration. We do not run open-ended advisory retainers because they encourage scope creep and disappoint everyone. Each project ends with a written report and a decision-ready set of recommendations.

Fixed-scope IT consulting follows a structured four-step process. Scoping is the most important step: a well-defined scope produces a useful report, a poorly-defined scope produces a bloated document nobody reads.

    30-minute scoping call followed by a written proposal: scope, deliverable, timeline, fee, named consultants. You sign or you do not; no committed cost before you sign.

    Discovery and analysis

    2-4 weeks

    Workshops, interviews, document review, system inspection, vendor calls. Hypothesis development and testing. Weekly status updates so you see findings as they emerge, not surprises at the end.

    Recommendation development

    1-2 weeks

    Recommendations drafted, tested in our team, peer-reviewed by a senior partner, finalised. Options analysis included where decisions remain with you. No single recommendation without alternatives shown.
